Regulated activities, such as trail construction and utility installation, are not outright prohibited in wetland buffers with the exception of stormwater facilities, as described in BMC 16.55.330. Approval of the activity shall be obtained in the appropriate critical area permit, minor critical area permit, or exception, depending on the activity.
