There shall be established an equipment rental fund for the operation of the equipment rental division of the city. Funds presently maintained as equipment rental funds by any of the various departments within the city shall, by virtue of this chapter, be transferred to the equipment rental fund. The general administration of the fund shall be the charge of the equipment rental manager, acting under the supervision of the director of administrative services.
