The Bellingham police department shall maintain a policy, consistent with the provisions of this chapter, in its manual and provide training to department personnel regarding the policy. Each department of the city will be responsible for compliance with this chapter within its area of duties and responsibilities and in accordance with departmental and city-wide administrative policies and procedures.
