A. The zoning classifications and regulations contained in Chapter 20.00 BMC are made up of six categories:

1. General use type.

2. Use qualifier.

3. Density.

4. Special conditions.

5. Prerequisite considerations.

6. Special regulations.

Together, these categories describe the intended land use for an area. In some instances a category might not be used because it is unnecessary for a particular area. But usually the first five categories are used to accurately describe the area’s land use. [Ord. 2004-12-088; Ord. 9024, 1982].
