Any person found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this chapter or failing to comply with the requirements thereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both fined and imprisoned.
